I like the fact that the Rancho's are adjustable but the OME's and Bilstein's get good reviews also. Price is very similiar with the Rancho's on top but looking for quality on/off road and hopefully getting it right the first time. This is nice to have, when the adjustment knob works. The Bilstein 4600's are a lot stiffer then the 5100's. Great shocks for handling when towing/hauling. Empty the ride comfort is harsh. WebAug 24, 2024 · The Bilstein 5100 zinc plated monotube shock is described by Bilstein as being more oriented for lifted trucks, heavier-than-stock vehicles, trucks or Jeeps running larger wheels and tires, and basically anything modified and not factory. The 5100 shocks DO RIDE FIRMER than stock, do not be mistaken.
