A lot of it is just the camera controls being really bad though, especially if you're used to the first game's snappiness. WebIn nearly all other games you can get away with no freesync/gsync and minimal tearing if you optimize correctly and obtain constant 60/120/144fps at 60/120/144Hz. Borderless window will eliminate all tearing. If you're on Windows 10, borderless will not impact your performance at all. And Dark Souls does support native borderless.
